I couldn't resist this little pink number from For Love and Lemons. It was recently mentioned in my February Wish List where I said it was a holiday must have. It didn't take an awful lot of convincing to make the purchase, as I knew I had to have it for Dubai and I am so happy it came with me in my suitcase!

So imagine my surprise when I stayed in the Marina district for a couple of days and was truly blown away by the spectacular views and humming atmosphere.

Flying is not something I love, in fact I think loathe is a better word to describe it. However, it is part of the parcel if you want to travel and see the world, so over the years I've learned some basic tips to keep the airport stress to a minimum and the boredom of flying at bay.

I was recently brought crashing down to earth with a thud when I realised my little bubby sister is not so little anymore. Once she'd turned 13 she overnight became a young lady with her own thoughts, challenges and demons. While thinking about how I can be there for her through these tricky adolescent years I began thinking about my turbulent teens and if I could go back what would I change. While I don't believe in regrets, there are pointers I could definitely have done with. This is a letter to my younger self.... Read more
I came to the party late in discovering & Other Stories but now I have, I’m well and truly raving about it! During my first visit to one of their stores I went a bit crazy and bought quite a few bits and pieces. I know this post may seem a little “crazy dog lady” but firstly, I don’t care and secondly, every now and again it is fine to indulge in some craziness! Last weekend marked the start of Simba’s birthday week. He officially turns 3 on 27th February, making him a mighty 21 in human years. He celebrated in style with a cake from The Hungry Hounds Bakery which he shared with his doggy friend, Bear.

Sometimes (actually quite often) I’m grumpy, unmotivated, feisty or temperamental. These are not my favourite characteristics but they are a part of me and IT IS OK.
