This is a pre 2015 haul but I thought it was still worth a share, particularly as it comes from shopper’s heaven, Bicester Village. I tend to head up there about half a dozen times a year, in fact one of my first ever blog posts was about Bicester Village and my top tips to get the most out of your visit there; to read click HERE.
I always think the key to a Bicester Village haul is the first purchase, once you’ve done this you’re well and truly aboard the shopping train. My first purchase was a real goodun’ as I’ve had nonstop use out it since and I LOVE it! It is my gorgeous Smythson handbag. At the moment I’m really into beautiful quality, understated bags which is a massive U turn for me who was all about the big labels for so long (think Chanel, Hermes, Louis Vuitton). However, as I’ve got older my style has definitely matured and I’m noticing it more than ever in my recent purchases.
It’s the colours of this bag which made it irresistible to me. It is the most stunning dove grey mixed with a tiny hint of taupe and has pretty powdery pink/peach band running across it.
I couldn’t resist the matching iPad sleeve either…
There was a quick pit stop in Walford to pick up some essentials before I went a little OTT in Prada (which FYI also stocks Miu Miu). I found two adorable little Miu Miu jumpers and had to have one in bright pink and one in light pink. While I was there I also picked up two of Prada’s classic make up bags which are perfect for housing my mounting makeup collection!
I wish I could say that was where I stopped but in the very last moments I paid Ralph Lauren a visit. My friend Amazing Amanda works for Ralph and gets an extra 30% off for friends and family! We both picked up this incredible tuxedo jacket which is rather reminiscent of circus ringmaster. I thought for black tie events this would be perfect to wear over the top of an evening dress instead of a big, cumbersome coat. It’s a stunning statement piece. Originally priced at a jaw dropping £1690 it had been marked down to £299 and with the extra discount I paid £209. Best bargain of the day!
