For Love and Lemons Orchid Dress

I couldn’t resist this little pink number from For Love and Lemons. It was recently mentioned in my February Wish List where I said it was a holiday must have.  It didn’t take an awful lot of convincing to make the purchase, as I knew I had to have it for Dubai and I am so happy it came with me in my suitcase!

The dress itself is sheer tulle with gorgeous pink embroidered orchids.  It is perfect as a kaftan as it’s lightweight, drapes really well and is perfectly floaty!

It also comes with a nude slip so it can be worn out and about as a dress.  Personally I didn’t like the slip at all as it was a really poor fit on me.  If I’m brutally honest I wasn’t impressed with the quality or fit.  Fortunately, I have some really lovely slips already that work perfectly underneath and I imagine there will be times in the Summer I’ll be able to wear this out.

I’m wearing a size Small and I probably could have done with an XSmall (FYI I’m between a UK8/10).  Although as I predominantly bought it to wear poolside it didn’t matter too much that it’s slightly oversized.

There is so much more I am lusting after from the For Love and Lemons collection.  Just look at how stunning some their pieces are:

(Sunglasses are from Matthew Williamson, bikini is Mara Hoffman and beach bag is Givenchy).
