Clashing Colours & Paradoxical Patterns

This post follows on rather nicely from my previous one which was all about adding some colour to you wardrobe and having fun with fashion.  In this outfit I wanted to take it one step further by mixing distinctive yet divergent colours and patterns.  I am SO ready to be rid of the old matchy-matchy look and embrace this new "any colour goes" mentality! Monochrome Mania

You can never go wrong with monochrome; it's classic, elegant and forever in style.  It is a look I can always rely on no matter the occasion.  My general rule of thumb is to wear black as the base of the outfit because it's (obviously) far more flattering and add in white accents. Read more

Banana Republic OOTD

When I was at University I was a part time sales associate at Banana Republic, so I got to know the quality and fit of the clothes very well. For the best, they are such good value for money so I always like to pop in store whenever I'm Stateside to see what they've got. This season is particularly strong so I got myself a full outfit.
