They are so versatile and an amazing statement piece but still so wearable.
These lace overalls are one of my favourite shopping finds in a while. When I saw these it was one of those “I HAVE to HAVE it” moments! They are so versatile and an amazing statement piece but still so wearable.

I have a real soft spot for lace, I think it’s beautiful, feminine and always on trend no matter the season. The only teenie tiny issue I have with it is you do have to invest in quality pieces because often if you don’t it can look cheap. Basically in the case of lace you get what you pay for. The best high street store, hands down, for good quality, inexpensive lace pieces is ZARA but if you can afford to splash out a bit more then I really recommend it. These lace dungarees are from one of my favourite brands, BCBG and although they were a bit of a splurge they are totally worth it!
The best thing about these is they can be completely changed up depending on the top you pair with it. I love the idea of pairing it with a gorgeous oversized pussybow shirt, a chunky knit polo neck sweater or a bandeau bra top if you’re feeling brave and willing to bare some skin. The list is endless and you can really create a different vibe. With this off the shoulder Bardot style top I wanted to create a easy breezy, summer look with a sophisticated edge, so if I needed to nip off to a meeting I could but also feel comfortable.
The same can be said with shoes as well. Add some lace up sandals for a boho vibe, very Coachella-esque, or a pair of incredible black stilettos for a statement monochrome look. I’d love to know how would style these as there’s probably hundreds of different ways you could adapt them to make it your own.
