I don't think comfort and looking presentable needs to be distinct from one another.

Despite being a fashionaholic I spend the majority of my time in joggers.  Given that I mostly work from home, being comfortable and cosy is non-negotiable!  That being said, I don’t think comfort and looking presentable needs to be distinct from one another.  I have slowly learned the art of making joggers look chic enough that if you need to run a few errands, you can do, without having to get changed.

From the moment I saw these joggers from Izaak Azanei I just had to have them.  Yes, they are on the pricey side but I knew they’d be a great investment (side note – they are currently on SALE, snap them up HERE while you can).  They’re 100% cashmere and the quality of the cashmere is top notch.  They couldn’t be any more cosy or snuggly, making them perfect for lounging around the house in.

I love the fur cuffs around the ankle. They are available with either faux (which is what these are) or real fur.  This gorgeous detail has the added bonus of being statement enough that you’re able to wear them out and about without looking trampy!

I have talked endlessly about silk shirts on this blog.  They are so versatile and easy to wear.  I find them much less restrictive than their cotton counterparts which can sometimes feel stiff, whereas silk ones are far airier and easy to move in.  Plus, they have this ability to elevate any look which is why I like to pair them with joggers.

I picked up this bomber jacket from Maje on a whim.  It was a total impulse purchase but I’ve got a surprising amount of wear out it.  I’m not going to lie it’s not particularly practical as it doesn’t keep you warm.  Despite this, I’ve been throwing it on a lot.  Again, like silk shirts, it just elevates your look.  This bomber style jacket has a sporty feel to it which suits a pair of joggers.  However, the delicate lace adds a hint of elegance which detracts from you looking like a total slob!

I shot this look a few weeks ago when the sun was still shining and I could wear sandals.  As of today, Autumn is officially upon us and my summery shoes have been put away for another year.  However, these joggers look just as great with either a pair of Converse or even a pair of sling backs.

Hopefully this post has inspired you to brave wearing joggers out of the house.  The only problem is you might fall so much in love with this lazy girl outfit you’ll never take it off!
