Metallics are huge this season, particularly if they are in Spring colours. Think dusty rose hues, sky blues, soft greens with touches of rose gold or silver. Amazingly it seems to be the high street who is dominating this trend with so many gorgeous yet affordable key pieces. For the brave there are foil treated pieces or for the more sensible metallic thread. Whatever your preference there is something to cater all tastes.
I’m currently smitten with these holographic jeans from Topshop. It is almost impossible to capture in a photograph just how much they glisten and the multitude of glimmering rainbow colours. Surprisingly they are pretty versatile and although I prefer them as a daytime jean, they could look fab glam’d up for a night out. These are the Hayden fit which I hadn’t tried before but I’ve been seriously won over by this style. The denim is super soft and the fit is great. I feel comfortable in them all day, even after a humungous lunch! Sadly, they are currently sold out online but I recently checked the “find a store” option and a number of London stores still have sizes available so might be worth calling/checking your nearest branch. Alternatively, I’ve listed some similar options below.

We all know I love my pink so add some shine and it’s all love, love, love! I’ve barely taken this sweater off since I picked it up in Banana Republic last week. I love it with jeans, black everything or even paired over a dress. I’m already certain this will be one of my key pieces this Spring.
