place is an Aladdin's cave with so many amazing and unique pieces.

I would never refer to myself as an impulsive shopper but I do have moments where if I see something I love, I have to have it.  There is no thinking twice!  This is exactly what happened with this amazing peacock sweater from Ragyard.  I spotted it on Instagram and immediately knew I had to make it mine.  As it turns out the brand has two stores in London and one of them is 5 minutes away from my flat.  Obviously, I jumped straight into the car and headed to Raygard on Portobello Road.

This place is an Aladdin’s cave with so many amazing and unique pieces.  Everything has a vintage and customised feel to it, so if you’re after something which looks and feels unique this is the place.  I think their Peacock design is their strongest, although I did like the embroidered Rattlesnake sweater too, which you can see HERE.

The great thing about the peacock design is they have it in loads of different colours and styles.  I got the sweater in navy blue but I was also very tempted by the denim jacket, the milatary shirt and the grey tshirt.

I personally think this looks like it could be quite an expensive sweater and really channels a Moschino or even Matthew Williamson vibe.  The great news is Ragyard is really affordable.  The sweaters are £70 and the t-shirts are £38.  This is such an inexpensive way to add that WOW factor to your wardrobe.

If you’re not London based, fear not(!) as they have an online boutique which you can check out HERE.

This outfit is also the start of me embracing a brighter palette.  You are definitely going to see more pops of colour on the blog from now on.  I’ve been chatting to so many of my friends recently and like me, they’re all beginning to move away from nude and monochrome towards brights and primary colours.  Today I even bought a red handbag which I would NEVER have done 18 months ago!  I’m so looking forward to embracing and styling all the colours of the rainbow.  Watch this space!

  1. Wow! I LOVE that sweater. I’m pretty sure I have a photo of someone wearing that same one to New York Fashion Week. Oh, I wish I were in London – I would do exactly as you did and snatch one up for myself. I also love your pops of color and the little bun style. You have amazing style!
