There's nothing worse than when you catch way too much sun, which has been known to happen to me in the past and have to squeeze your body into something fitted.

This was my favourite look I wore in Mykonos.  It’s pretty much my perfect colour palette, pink and soft denim blue.  I felt comfortable but still chic in it.  When you’re on holiday it’s absolutely essential to feel comfortable, especially if you’re like me and want to sample as much of the local cuisine as possible.  I have to make sure whatever I’m wearing has room for a full on food baby!

Also, there’s nothing worse than when you catch way too much sun, which has been known to happen to me in the past (although I’m much more careful in the sun now I’m older and wiser!) and have to squeeze your body into something fitted.  Ouch!  Being that uncomfortable just ruins your day/evening.  Take it from someone who has learned the hard way!

I’m head over heels in love with this top, I also have it in blue which I equally adore and I’ve had heaps of wear out of both.  I’m just a sucker for anything with a bow!  I’m so surprised both colours (plus a wine version) are all still in stock in all sizes, as this top is a serious winner, especially for the price.  It’s my favourite layered underneath something, so either under braces like with this skirt or even under dungarees which you’ll see in my next post.

Quick note, this tops does run a little on the large side so I would recommend ordering a size down.

I’m already concocting ways I can style this for the winter, as I’m so obsessed with it and don’t want to hide it away till Summer rolls around.  If you’d like to see a post on how to get the most out of your holiday clothes throughout the seasons let me know.

This is my second pair of these sparkly tassel shoes.  My first pair were silver and I literally wore them till they fell apart.  I originally got them from a small boutique in Ibiza but thank goodness for global internet shopping which meant I managed to hunt down this second pair.  Hurrah!  I pretty much wore these every night I was in Mykonos.  They’re the perfect balance between dressy, comfy (they are instantly comfortable, so there’s no need to break them in) and SO wearable.  As if all of this isn’t good enough, this brand Vidorreta is really affordable.  I’m lusting after these gorgeous holographic ones from YOOX next (see them HERE).
