Faux fur seems to get better and better.  To be honest, these days it looks so real and is so cosy, you don't have to wear the real deal.

Just under a year ago I decided to stop buying real fur.  If you’ve been reading the blog for a while, you’ll know I use to wear fur quite a bit.  However, it’s a moral issue I’ve struggled with for a while, especially since having my dog.

I’m not going to stop wearing the fur I already own, I just don’t want to support the industry by buying more.  I personally don’t have any issue with people who choose to buy fur, I’ve just decided it’s not for me anymore.

Faux fur seems to get better and better.  To be honest, these days it looks so real and is so cosy, you don’t have to wear the real deal.  Also, it’s so much more affordable.  I thought I’d do a rundown of the 3 best faux fur jackets currently on the high street.

The first one is super fluffy and incredibly cosy.  I really like that it makes a statement without being over the top.  The monochromatic snow leopard print means it goes with everything.

I often find faux (and real) fur jackets can make you look really bulky and you end up looking like the Incredible Hulk!  However, this one, despite being so statement, is surprisingly flattering.  You can even wear it buttoned up and you don’t look like you gained 10 stones!

With the hideously cold weather, we’ve recently been having now is the time to invest in a warm coat.  At £80 it’s also a mega bargain which you can wear winter after winter.
