I wanted to share my skincare regime for those who also have sensitive, acne prone, oily skin.  I totally understand your pain and hope this may have some helpful product suggestions.

I have annoyingly suffered from problem prone, sensitive skin ever since I hit my teen years.  There’ve been moments where my skin has been so bad it has wrecked havoc with my confidence and stopped me leaving the house.  Thankfully as I’ve got older it has improved, partly with the help of antibiotics and partly by working out what type of products work for me.

I wanted to share my skincare regime for those who also have sensitive, acne prone, oily skin.  I totally understand your pain and hope this may have some helpful product suggestions.

Nouveau Lashes – Eye Makeup Remover

I’ve recently started wearing eyelash extensions (FYI I love them and don’t think I could ever go back to not having them!) so I needed a decent oil free makeup remover.  This one is gentle but effective, although I’m definitely still open to suggestions so if you know a great one which isn’t too pricey please let me know.

This Works – Clean Skin 5 in 1 Water

I’ve raved about this in the past HERE so I’m not going to go on about it too much again.  Basically in a nutshell it’s the perfect lazy girl cleanser, who wants something gentle, effective and super easy to use.

Clarins – Toning Lotion with Iris

I recently switched from the Clarins toner with Camomile to this one because it’s intended for combination to oily skin.  I actually preferred the one with Camomile because it’s ever so slightly gentler and more soothing but being in the hot LA climate I need to tackle oil and keep shine at bay more than ever!

This Works – In Transit Camera Close Up

Another This Works product I can’t get enough of.  If you want a product which will noticeably improve your skin this is it.  It has massively reduced my clogged pores and prevented breakouts.  I absolutely swear by it!  It also sinks into the skin perfectly and the primer aspect is fab at keep shine at bay.  I use it day and night but if your skin is on the drier side stick to this as the perfect morning moisturiser.

Creme de la Mer – Mositurizing Cream

This cream is in fact intended for dry to normal skin types which is so far removed from mine.  However, Creme de la Mer is amazing for its restorative abilities and elimination of scarring.  I use it as a night cream only on the weekends because it is very rich and if I used it daily I would be in a constant state of shine! Since applying it, even just twice weekly, I’ve had noticeable elimination of acne scarring.  A huge splurge but definitely one that’s worth the money!
