The two piece really had it's moment over the past year or so, particularly during the Summer. Just about every high street label was getting in on the action. Now that Winter is officially here, I've found the perfect one for this season.

So it's another grey day in London but I don't even mind because I have my gorgeous new fuchsia parker from Poppy London. Every time I've worn it I have had so many lovely compliments from passers by.

I'm well and truly back in The Ol' Smoke and I've never been happier. It may be wet and rather grey but it's my home. I love the hustle and bustle, the London style and it's stunning architecture. Although I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty darn cold right now. I'm currently bundling myself up in plenty of layers and oversized scarves. Read more
We are finally at the end of my Christmas Gift Guides. I hope you have found them (at least a little bit) inspiring. I have really enjoyed collating them and hunting out slightly more unique ideas than the standard ones often churned out repeatedly. Read more
Last Saturday was Small Business Saturday which I hadn't heard of until this Christmas. It's aim is to promote, inspire and support small and independent businesses on the first Saturday of each December. When I was collating these gift guides focusing on small companies was my key aim. I really hope this is evident and that it inspires you to shop with some of these smaller but absolutely amazing companies!

We are now half way through my Christmas Gift Guides for 2015, which can only mean one thing, Christmas is fast approaching! Hopefully below will provide ample inspiration if you still haven't got anything for your all important mum and dad. Read more
The second instalment in my Christmas Gift Guide are ideas for your beloved boyfriends & girlfriends / husbands & wives. As I mentioned previously, I've searched high and low for more unique gift ideas to feature which will hopefully be a little more meaningful and thoughtful than the usual presents you find on the high street. This is the first instalment of my five part Christmas Gift Guide. Over the next week I will be covering gift ideas for friends, parents, boyfriends & girlfriends, children & teens and stocking fillers. My aim was to create a list of suggestions which strayed from the High Street and are (hopefully) more unique or thoughtful than the usual stuff you see in the shops.

After a two year hiatus I recently joined a gym! Now that I'm well and truly into my late twenties things have started to drop here and there, so I figured it was time to take some action. If I'm honest it's a love/hate relationship (mostly hate) but the silver lining is it offers a whole new area of clothing to shop for - gym wear. Read more
As a lip product fiend, my top 5 MAC lipsticks post had to be done. You'll probably notice an apparent theme running through my 5 choices as I do tend to go for very similar shades but if I love something I go with it! I've tried as much as possible to pick a couple of less obvious shades, so hopefully this will give you some new colours to check out in MAC. Read more
I recently treated myself to a new pair of booties and I'm so besotted with them I had to share. I was initially drawn to them because they reminded me of a Gianvito Rossi pair I desperately wanted but simply couldn't justify. These beauties are from Sam Edelman and less than half the price.

I choose to invest heavily in clothes, shoes and bags, partly because what I wear is an expression of who I am and partly because if I feel I look great on the outside then it makes me feel great on the inside. Interestingly, I often get (judgemental) gasps from my friends, family and colleagues about my spending choices which they sometimes see as extravagant. Recently I got to thinking about how each of us choose to spend our hard earned money and what exactly is "personal value". Read more

Making long-term memories hasn’t been easy the last 18 months and it quickly taught me how important they are.
