Focus hasn't been placed on simply having well-known brands listed, instead, they've looked for designers with fresh ideas and beautiful quality.
Your Fitting Room is a new concept shaking up the way we shop online. They’ve successfully set themselves apart for a number of reasons but most notably it’s their delivery and trying on service which makes them so unique.
Rather than just having your order UPS’d or FedEx’d, which often means a 12-hour window to receive it or an out of town run to the depot, Your Fitting Room does it all in house. What this means is, you schedule in a 60-minute slot on a day which suits you and someone from the Your Fitting Room team will drop your order to you. If you wish they’ll talk you through the pieces or they can just leave them with you to try everything on in the comfort of your own home. After 30 minutes your assistant will come back and you can purchase, then and there, the pieces you like and hand back the ones you don’t.
Now that I’ve given you a very overview, I thought I’d share my recent experience trying the service.
The Online Experience
Your Fitting Room currently works with 15 brilliant designers which you can shop by category (i.e. dresses, beachwear, belts, etc.) or by designer. The site is curated beautifully and is very user-friendly.
The one thing that really struck a chord with me is the edit of designers. Although you won’t have heard of most, I think I only recognised 3 of the labels, you’ll love them nonetheless. Focus hasn’t been placed on simply having well-known brands listed, instead, they’ve looked for designers with fresh ideas and beautiful quality. It’s also great to see such a broad price range between £99-£1085. I challenge anyone who says they can’t find something they love!
The Personal Touches
There is no shortage of personal touches, whether it be the personalised note that hangs on the rail or the luxe suit bags and hangers you get with your purchase, they all make this a stand out experience.
The other great concept, I took full advantage of, was my stylist Victoria selecting a couple of “surprise” items which she pulled based on the pieces I chose. I’ve always been a fan of letting other people choose clothes for me, as it’s good to be pushed out of your style comfort zone.
Victoria selected two gorgeous pieces from MOKA London which were the perfect combination of elegant and versatile. We had so much fun styling the MOKA top with a pair of blue denim jeans. If you’re looking for a great black top which is really well priced I highly recommend checking this one out (find HERE).
Victoria, The Stylist
My stylist, Victoria, was amazing. Although the usual service is to drop the clothes to you and provide you with some peace and quiet to try them on. I wanted to take full advantage of Victoria’s knowledge as a designer and stylist, so I requested her to stick around to help style the clothes and provide me with her honest opinion on how they looked.
This is the perfect example of how you can tailor your experience to suit you. Some people appreciate being left alone without having someone hovering over them, while others like to have that second opinion on hand.
The Clothes
I picked 4 pieces off the website and as I’ve already mentioned, Victoria chose a further two for me. I went for a wide selection from evening wear to loungewear and premium luxury to less expensive. Everything I chose came from a different designer, so I really got a feel for the different brands and they didn’t disappoint.
The turquoise lace appliqué skirt from Mariana Jungmann was a real head turner and such a special piece. Although it was on the pricey side, the craftsmanship and time involved in creating something like this, made the price tag pale in comparison. The cotton classic dress from Sophie Cameron Davies was a perfect summer piece. I felt very Wimbledon ready in it!
The Perriand Dress from Sarah Bond was divine and it made me feel really sexy without being overexposed. Sexy has never been my thing so to find a dress I feel comfortable in but still bares some flesh is a real find.
My hands down favourite piece was the Cosy Travel Set from Pritch London. At £390, I’m going to be honest and say it is on the pricey end but the quality is on another level. The white leather detailing feels like butter and the jersey fabric is unbelievably cosy. Plus, I would happily wear the sweatshirt with jeans meaning it doesn’t just have to be for slouching around the house or catching a flight.
The Your Fitting Room service is complimentary and at the end of your session you’re under no obligation to purchase, although I bet you will want to! Given that this is such a unique and personal experience you’d be mad not to give it a try. You can find further information about them at www.yourfittingroom.com.
I want to thank Your Fitting Room for the experience and for sponsoring this post. As always, my thoughts, opinions and my love of the service remain my own.

This is such a cool service!! I wish we had this in my city, it would be such a big help when it comes to special events. I had one last week and I was a mess (and so was my room afterwards).
This is such a unique service – I love that they can come to your home! Online shopping is usually so hit and miss, sometimes it fits, often it doesn’t. Love that skirt too.
