My favourite trainer of all time has to go the Adidas Superstar. They look great with everything and anything plus they're constantly bringing out new styles, colours and collaborations so there really is a design for everyone.
I don’t know how many times I blogged about trainers in 2015 but I am sure it was way more than I expected to. I shockingly fell hook, line and sinker for them. They’re comfortable, versatile and as it turns out, oh so stylish! Here are 3 completely different looks all featuring my beloved trainers!
Keeping it Casual in Adidas Originals Superstar 80s Rose Gold Metal Toe Cap
My favourite trainer of all time has to go the Adidas Superstar. They look great with everything and anything plus they’re constantly bringing out new styles, colours and collaborations so there really is a design for everyone. These rose gold capped ones are my favourite pair, although if you’re after them be quick, as they’re selling like hotcakes and there’s only limited sizing left.
This outfit is pretty much my everyday look and even though I’m dressed down in boyfriend jeans and an oversized chunky knit, with a pair of Superstars I still feel put together and chic. Who knew stylish dressing could be so comfortable?

Dressing an Outfit Down in Nike Roshe One
I love my Roshe Ones. They are incredibly comfy and one of the few pairs I own which can double up as actual work out footwear. Talk about two for the price of one!
I’ve had an obsession with lace ever since I can remember, so you can pretty much bet if it has some sort of lace detailing I am going to be all over it like a rash. My absolute favourite look at the moment is layering delicate textures, such as lace, with heavier, more casual fabrics, like knitwear. It looks great for an evening out with some sumptuous heels or, better still, paired back with a great pair of kicks. I’m currently loving this idea of taking an elegant slip dress and roughing it up so it can be worn all day, everyday. Simply throw on some chunky jewellery and you have an outfit fit for fashionista!

Skirts and Kicks with Nike Air Max Thea Premium
The Nike Air Max Thea seems to be the current trainer pick amongst bloggers at the moment. Unfortunately the colour I’m wearing is now sold out but I’m LOVING this seasons grey pair! Although a quick word to the wise these aren’t the comfiest. I find they really rub on the back of my ankles, as the back tab is very rigid and unforgiving. It’s definitely a fashion shoe, rather than a walking shoe!
Wearing trainers and skirts together is something I had to work up to. I always felt my legs were much too stocky to be able to carry the look off but as it turns out it’s all about finding the right shoe. For all the Nike Thea’s comfort faults, you have to hand it to them, they are stylish. They have a way of elongating your legs which most trainers simply don’t do. Hands down these are my favourite style to wear with bare legs. Although if you’d like to see them paired back with some black skinnies then click HERE.
