I like to refer to this look as "shabby chic", as I feel it's smart-ish and pulled together but still comfortable.

My big wish when I land in London on 31st March is the sun will be shining and Spring will be out in full force.  To be honest I’m not holding my breath all that much! Although when the sun does choose to grace London with her presence (yes, I think the sun is a she) this is one of the looks I’ll be rocking, especially at work.  Thankfully I work in the design industry so typical office dress isn’t expected and it’s a good thing to as this is as smart as I can usually manage!

I like to refer to this look as “shabby chic”, as I feel it’s smart-ish and pulled together but still comfortable.  Plus I love how my Anya Hindmarch handbag give the impression of a business bag until you see Tony the Tiger smiling back at you. I just love this fun and humorous twist and everywhere I go it receives a bagful of compliments.

At the moment I’m obsessed with throwing a chunky knit over everything.  First off it keeps you warm and lets be honest that’s something you seriously need in cold London!  Other than practical benefits I think it softens an outfit and makes it much more tactile.  After all who doesn’t want to look and feel all cosy and snug?!

  1. i think this is a cute smart look! dressing up a typical office attire everyday can be really boring indeed, but i think there’s a different kind of fun in it too, in that you wanna be as creative as you can be with all the office attire boundaries that try to limit you. 😀

It rains A LOT but it makes up for it in other ways! It’s a great city, you should definitely try and visit if you ever have the chance! Thank you for the lovely comment xx
