The Oberoi group is globally recognised for it's luxurious and relaxing hotels and this one certainly didn't disappoint!
The elegant and sophisticated hotel lobby is decked out with gold detailing, cascading crystal chandeliers and extravagant flower displays. The welcoming was as wonderful as the lobby.
I have to praise the impeccable level of service, first and foremost, where nothing was too much effort. Even when we called to request DVDs and extra towels the butler came within seconds (yes, we had a butler!).
The room was a great size, with a bathroom which on its own was probably larger than my London flat! I just couldn’t resist a long soak in the bath with a chamomile tea before bed. The Etro toiletries, fluffy towels and his n’ hers dressing gowns just made it all the more sublime!
The pool area (like everywhere in Dubai) was overlooked by skyscrapers and office blocks. Despite this it was still a lovely place to be and surprisingly easy to relax in. On arrival we were presented with a tray of poolside essentials including suntan lotion, ice cold water, cold towels and Evian face spray.
Even after only one night I left feeling completely rested and rejuvenated. If you’re looking for a hotel in Dubai which ticks the boxes The Oberoi Dubai is it. Luxury, great service, yummy food, a central location and affordable in comparison to some of the neighbouring hotels. Tick, tick and tick!
