I've spent the last 12 months trying to decipher how to make joggers look as presentable as possible.

If you look at my Instagram page you’ll see I’m never far from a pair of joggers. I’ve spent the last 12 months trying to decipher how to make joggers look as presentable as possible. Here are a few little tricks to help elevate your casual-wear and look a little less like you’ve just rolled out of bed.

1) In general, a cuffed jogger is the most pulled together silhouette. I have a few straight leg styles (similar to the old Juicy Couture velour tracksuit bottoms) and I find them the trickiest to style. They might be ideal for slobbing around the house but if you want to disguise yourself as presentable, you can’t do it in these.

2) Cashmere or fine wool options are a great investments. Throw an oversized blazer over a good pair of cashmere joggers and you’ll look like you walked off an influencer’s Instagram page.

4) Fun colours and quirky patterns can look more stylish than your average black. Colour blocking is a great way to elevate your look without forgoing any comfort

5) If you like that socks over joggers look which seem to be doing the rounds at the moment (just have a scroll on Instagram and you’ll see what I mean), then take a size down from your regular size. A more fitted cuff around the ankle will make the whole look much more streamline.

If you’re in the market for a new pair of joggers, and lets be honest, who isn’t at the moment?! I’ve pulled together an edit of the best 6 joggers on the market right now:
