I first have to mention the bag selection which was amazing.  They had a number of bags which were still full price in the shops...

Given I’m the ultimate Anya Hindmarch fan girl, it’s hard to believe this was their first sample sale I’ve attended.  It’s very safe to say, I was excited!

Prior to sale I had a very clear idea of what I was looking for.  I had my fingers and toes crossed for a pair of boots and a coat (ideally the Ghosts Oversized Coat; see it HERE).

I arrived at the sale around 11am and there wasn’t queue to get in.  The sale was neatly laid out with all the bags collated in one area, an expansive shoe section at the back, big baskets full of small leather goods and on the far side piles and piles of stickers.

Sadly, the coat selection was very limited but I still managed to walk away with 3 items.  I got the Allover Sticker boots in black, a Pac Man Makeup Pouch and an Allover Sticker A5 notebook in white.

Prices were as follows:

Day Bags (including Ebury & Shearling Backpack) – £400

Clutch Bags (including Crossbody) – £250

Shoes – £100

Boots – £160

Coats – £400

Small Leather Goods – £65

Large Leather Goods – £80

Document Holder – £300

Stickers – £5

I first have to mention the bag selection which was amazing.  They had a number of bags which were still full price in the shops, such as the Allover Sticker Crossover and Ebury in various colours which look like THIS and was selling like hotcakes.

I would say most women at the sale snapped up at least one bag and you could hear the sheer excitement as people scored highly-coveted bags at a bargain price.

The shoe selection was expansive which I was delighted by!  I’ve always hankered over a pair of Anya Hindmarch shoes.  Plus, by the time I arrived the shoes had already been reduced even further.  Sizes were plentiful, although the smaller sizes seemed to be selling very fast.  Myself and one other girl managed to bag the last size 36s in the Allover Sticker boots in black.

Just as a side note, if you’re thinking of getting a pair of Anya Hindmarch boots, I found they come up on the large side by at least half a size.

I also couldn’t resist one of the leather notebooks.  At £80 it was VERY expensive for a notebook!  However, I go to so many meetings and I’m constantly taking notes I thought it’d be nice to treat myself to a really special one.  Also, it’s refillable so once you’ve used all the pages up, you can buy more, so at least it isn’t a one-time thing.

The selection of small leather goods and accessories was really good.  There were plenty of makeup bags, card holders and small wallets.  Lots of items would have made amazing gifts.  Next time I will be more organised and start thinking about my Christmas present shopping earlier.

I was also impressed by the number of stickers.  They had 100s and 100s to choose from and each came in its own box.  At £5 they were a mega bargain.

I am already looking forward to the next Anya Hindmarch sample sale.  I love everything I bought and I have absolutely no buyer’s remorse which can be common when you buy things in a frenzied environment.  The sale prices compared to the RRP were absolutely amazing.  Bags which retailed for £1995 were down to £400 and boots which were £995, were on sale for £160.

I’ve been buying Anya Hindmarch for years and I know how good their quality is so getting the opportunity to shop at these highly-reduced prices was amazing!
