Those who have read this blog for a while will know I am a great believer in the "To Me, From Me" present and every Christmas and Birthday I tend to treat myself to whatever I've been lusting after the previous few months.
If you follow me on Snapchat (my username is thatnewdress if you don’t and want to) you’ll know I asked if you wanted to see a “What I Got For Christmas” and a couple of people got back to me saying absolutely. I did shoot some photos but I’ve been having some camera issues recently and the quality of them just wasn’t good enough to post. I’ve ordered a new camera so fingers crossed my photography will be back up to scratch shortly!
In the meantime I thought I’d share with you what I treated myself to for Christmas instead. Those who have read this blog for a while will know I am a great believer in the “To Me, From Me” present and every Christmas and Birthday I tend to treat myself to whatever I’ve been lusting after the previous few months. I figured this was pretty similar to a “What I got for Christmas” post, so I hope you enjoy!
The Christmas sales seem to start earlier and earlier every year, so everything I got was in the sale. Avenue 32 and Netaporter both started theirs on the same day which was a recipe for disaster for my poor credit card.
On Avenue 32 I spotted these insanely cool boots. I love a good bootie at the best of times but I seem to be particularly obsessed with cowboy style ones at the moment. I recently got a grey heeled pair from Sam Edelman which I blogged about HERE. Although I think my new ones are in a league of their own. The detail and quality of the leather is insane. I love the metal detailing on the back, the stitching, the heel height – it’s basically all love, love, love!

The other thing I spotted on Avenue 32 was Frends headphones with a sizeable discount. These rarely go on sale, let alone with a 40-50% reduction, so when I saw them I had to snap them up. These are the best quality headphones I’ve ever had and they beat a pair of Beats a mile off! I hate it when headphones spill out noise, as I think it’s so unfair that everyone around you should have to listen to your music too but these are completely silent, even when they are on super loud. I got both models, the Layla and Taylors and I can’t recommend them enough.
From Netaporter there was only one thing I really couldn’t resist and that was a handbag from Anya Hindmarch. I absolutely adore Anya Hindmarch for her fun, don’t take yourself to seriously accessories. You may remember over the Summer I treated myself to a Maxi Featherweight Ebury bag from Bicester Village boutique (read about it HERE). I mentioned in that post, although I loved it, it wasn’t the one I was initially after. The one I really wanted was the Tony the Tiger one and after patiently waiting for all this time I now have one! I got for a fabulous 50% off but it’s unfortunately, although not surprisingly, now sold out. Weirdly it is still available in certain places but at the full price only. If you are an Anya Hindmarch fan too and looking for something from her iconic collection I strongly advise checking out either the Netaporter sale or Anya Hindmarch’s own website.

Wow, I love both pairs of headphones you got. They are absolutely gorgeous! I always break my headphones, so I usually go for a cheap pair that I can easily replace but these might change my mind.
