I have developed a real love for anything fringed and if it's embellished AND fringed well that's like hitting the fashion jacket pot!
Sometimes there is a dress that makes your eyes pop out your head, a bit like in those crazy cartoons we all use to watch when we were younger. Well I had exactly that with this amazing dress. When I spotted it online I couldn’t believe just how gorgeous it was and the price tag, well that was the cherry on top!

I have developed a real love for anything fringed and if it’s embellished AND fringed well that’s like hitting the fashion jacket pot! Balmain really trailblazed that look but unless you want to spend £1000s it’s quite hard to recreate on the high street, until now. Somehow brands are finally managing to capture the drama of Balmain without the hefty price tag. This dress is a perfect example of that.
Before you all point it out, I’m aware the dress doesn’t fit me perfectly. It isn’t quite fitted enough and I did end up reordering a size down. I umm’d and errr’d about posting these photos but in the end decided this dress is such a good find that I had to share it while it’s still in stock (just make sure you order the right size!).

The quality obviously isn’t Balmain’s level but for what you’re paying for it, I’m really impressed. The pearl beading is intricate and consistent. The tassel fringing is lovely and full, so you get loads of movement when you walk and/or dance in it.
With this dress you have to let it do all the talking so I kept my shoes and accessories simple, elegant and understated.
From what I can tell this brand is exclusive to ASOS (click HERE to check it out). If you’re not crazy about this particular dress but you are looking for a beautiful Christmas party dress which makes an impact and doesn’t break the bank I highly recommend you check them out.
