I warn you they won't be everyone's cup of tea but I believe fashion shouldn't be taken to seriously and these definitely make me smile!

Red Valentino, the younger sister label to Valentino, has been a fashion favourite of mine forever.  Their look is extremely girly but still fun and very quirky (think ginormous bows, full skirts, disney themed collections and little pixies – yes, eclectic I know!).  If you like tailoring, grunge or only wear black it probably isn’t for you, but if you are a girly girl who loves to play with fashion then you can’t go wrong with a bit of Red Valentino.

I’ve recently added two quirky pairs of shoes to my ever expanding wardrobe and thought I’d share.  I warn you they won’t be everyone’s cup of tea but I believe fashion shouldn’t be taken to seriously and these definitely make me smile!

I was trying to dress a bit like an owl in this coat… Is it a fashion faux pas to dress like the animal on your shoes???

NIGHT FOX

This super fun twist on a classic suede pump is totally foxy (!) and those little ears get me every time !  Also, what a great help to have a pair of eyes on the back of your shoes, the night fox will always be watching!

Unfortunately, both these styles were part of RED Valentino’s Spring/Summer 14 and now sold out.  Although similar styles still available are on Red Valentino’s online site (A word of warning – I do find their shoes come up large, so if you’re between sizes always opt smaller):

Or following the animal theme these creatures are still available in the Netaporter sale:
