Without a shadow of doubt these are my most used, most loved, best-est products I own!

5 Favourite: Beauty Products

In this month’s “Five Favourite” I’m sharing the 5 beauty products I could not live without.  Whittling down my extensive beauty cupboard (yes, I have a cupboard of beauty and it’s pure heaven) was actually surprisingly easy.  Without a shadow of doubt these are my most used, most loved, best-est products I own!

Benefit – The Porefessional Primer

This primer works for me because it’s silicon based so it smoothes over any enlarged pores and fills in fine lines which I (sadly) really need.  It leaves my skin feeling silky smooth and provides the perfect base.  It’s also ideal for keeping oily skin or shine at bay.

Maybelline – The Eraser Eye Concealer

This drugstore concealer is amazing for covering blemishes and redness.  It only comes in two shades (Light and Nude) but I find the Light shade works perfectly fine for me.  It is super blendable and the coverage is superb.  Although it’s worth noting it’s not the best for under eyes as it doesn’t seem to counteract blue very well.  I also LOVE the highlight shade Maybelline does but I’ve struggled to find it in store recently.  If anyone knows where to find one pleaseee let me know!

MAC – Eyebrow Liner in Spiked

I don’t hear people raving about this eyebrow pencil very often but I love it.  The colour is perfect for me (I use shade Spiked) and the super thin nib means you can create very precise brows.  If I’m having a “can’t be bothered with makeup day”, just having my brows done with a flourish of mascara is often enough to make me feel semi presentable!

Kat Von D – Tattoo Liner

If you’re going to purchase this eyeliner first things first, DO NOT confuse it with the Kat Von D Ink Liner which I spoke about in my disappointing products post (catch it HERE if you missed it).  The Tattoo Liner on the other hand is amazing!  It’s super black and the nib makes it the easiest to handle liquid liner I’ve ever tried.  The thin nib means mastering the elusive winged eyeliner has never been simpler.

Anastasia Beverly Hills – Illuminator

Anastasia’s illuminators are simply the best.  I have two colours and love them equally.  Sadly, both the shades I own are now discontinued but I’d bet my bottom dollar the two current shades are equally gorgeous.  They are so pigmented and give the perfect glow to your face, you’d be crazy not to treat yourself to one of these!

I currently have my beady eye on their Glow Kit which also looks pretty amazing.  Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a UK stockist for it but Sephora has just added it to their website so this may be well worth adding to your basket if you fancy doing a US beauty haul.

Anastasia Beverley Hill’s illuminator has received so many glowing (no pun intended haha) reviews lately from bloggers, I’m so curious to try it myself now! 🙂

  2. I walked out of Superdrug empty handed today thinking they didn’t have the Eraser Eye in my shade because they only had the two haha. Though I’m glad I read this as I was getting it for my undereyes so may give that a miss now. POREfessional on the other hand I couldn’t live without! x

Walking out of Superdrug empty handed takes A LOT of restraint! I use the Tarte CC under eye concealer and it’s a amazing, although difficult to find in the UK. Definitely worth ordering from Sephora though if you fancy treating yourself! xx
