Choosing an entire year of favourites and rolling it into one post proved to be a lot trickier than I originally expected! This year has absolutely flown by and I was lucky to have some really amazing moments so limiting it down to just a very few favourites was HARD!
Favourite… Make up Brand
This year I invested in my first Charlotte Tilbury haul and it has been a slippery slope of expensiveness ever since. The quality, packaging and colour selection makes it hands down my favourite beauty brand of 2014. My particular highlights in the collection are the Wonderglow, Supermodel Body and Matte Revolution lipsticks (in any colour!).
As a side note if you’ve been eyeing up anything now is the time to purchase as Selfridges currently have 10% off all beauty and Charlotte Tilbury never usually goes on sale!

Favourite… Skincare Brand
This was a pretty easy choice and has to go to Glamglow for their amazing face masks. Every product in their line is a winner, even their Thirsty Mud Hydrating Treatment has seriously won me over! Absolutly the best face masks on the market for clearing skin and adding hydration.
Head to Terence Paul Online for the best prices and speedy delivery.

Favourite…. Fashion Brand
My favourite fashion brand this year was Maje as I got some of my favourite pieces from there this year. Think gorgeous dresses, cute playsuits and elegant cigarette trousers – all of which work perfectly for the working day right through to an evening out.
Here are some OOTDs & OOTNs of me rocking it:

Favourite… Shoe Designer
Hands down Gianvito Rossi. I’ve talked about his shoes umpteenth times on the blog and just can’t get enough! If I could only wear one shoe ever again, it would be his. His heels are the comfiest I’ve ever tried. I particularly recommend his business pump with the 85mm heel; they look gorgeous on, are easy to walk in all day and work beautifully with a day or evening look (I may have recently ordered another pair in the Netaporter sale so look out for those either in a style post or haul post soon). I’ve worn my lilac ones to death and they’re still going strong.

Favourite… Accessories Designer
Charlotte Simone is another one I have mentioned on the blog a hell of a lot. Although she’s been on my fashion radar for ages it was only this year I made my first purchase. I’ve been rocking my fur lined hoods all autumn and winter and every time I wear them I always get compliments.

Favourite… Purchase
This was SOOO hard, as a shoppaholic who has really outdone herself this year, I really struggled! I treated myself a huge amount this year but if you work hard I definitely think an indulgence here or there is ok. In the end I went for my vintage pink Chanel bag which I purchased from Designer Exchange in Knightsbridge, London. Firstly, it’s Chanel, so what’s not to love (?) but also it is the perfect for colour for me, as well as a classic style so I know I’ll be using it for years to come.
And just to prove I can’t get enough of this Chanel beauty here are some snaps of me using it and loving it!:

Favourite… Moment
Without a shadow of a doubt it was when I bought my flat and had the keys in hand. It was a moment I had worked toward for quite a while and the relief and excitement has been unparalleled all year.
Favourite… Blogger
I make sure I catch every single post The Londoner does. Love her style, the amazing photography and she is such a natural beauty! I’m so terribly jealous of that incredible, thick mane of hair she has too.
Favourite… That New Dress Blog Post
My favourite blog post I did was the Closet Confidential Tag one where I got to have a really good ol’ rummage through my wardrobe and pick out the pieces which suited the varied tag questions best. I would definitely like to do a few more of these tag type posts in 2015. I also loved the photography in my My Topshop Sales Bargains and credit has to go to my little brother for this one!
Favourite… TV
I was so sad when Homeland finished right before Christmas because it literally had me on the edge of my seat, hiding behind cushions and jumping up and down in excitement. If you haven’t watched Homeland yet I hugely recommend it. It is quite possibly one of my favourite TV series of all time.
Favourite… Song
How could I possibly just pick one? So I limited it down to two; firstly Same Love – Macklemore & Ryan Lewis ft Mary Lambert and the second is The Man – Aloe Blacc. I LOVEDDD the Netaporter video of all the NAP offices around the round joining forces to sing a parody of this song for Mark Sebba during his final day as CEO. Ever since seeing this the song always makes me smile! (FYI – this also makes it as my favourite You Tube clip of 2014.)
Let me know in the comments your 2014 favourites and whether there are any topics you think I’ve missed out!
[…] I’ve made my Charlotte Tilbury love affair pretty blatant (just click HERE, HERE & HERE to see!) but I was fortunate to get some more of her products under the Christmas tree this year. […]
