It glides on far more like a balm than a lipstick and has a velvet feel on the lips. Oh and the staying power is remarkable and even lasts through dinner.
I think I’ve made my Charlotte Tilbury love affair pretty blatant (just click HERE, HERE & HERE to see!) but I was fortunate to get some more of her products under the Christmas tree this year. I am absolutely LOVING the Matte Revolution Lipstick! I don’t usually like matte lipsticks, like the MAC one which I find really drying and heavy on the lips. This on the other hand is really moisturising with a creamy texture. It glides on far more like a balm than a lipstick and has a velvet feel on the lips. Oh and the staying power is remarkable and even lasts through dinner.
The other thing I’m LOVING is the squarer angled tip to the lipstick. As there are more straight lines and angular edges it allows a lot more precision on application, which is a must given how gorgeously pigmented these are and the fact you really don’t want these smearing/bleeding all over your face!
I received shades Love Liberty and Amazing Grace which aren’t my usual choice of colour but they are definitely striking!
Love Liberty – best described as a rich raspberry with a hint of plum. For me this is definitely an evening shade:
Amazing Grace – this is a essentially a pink with reddy and slight orange undertones. Although it looks rather bold in the photo of me below it is actually a touch subtler and you could definitely get away with it during the day:
At £23 it is definitely a worthy treat but if you are quick Selfridges has 10% off during their sale so run, run, run!
