It still has that Hollywood sheen and is a great place to spot celebrities but it's also somewhere you can meander and lose yourself for a few hours.
My good friend Kelsey, from the blog Wondering Through, reminded me the other day I need to do more LA themed blogposts. So I thought I’d shoot this look in one of my favourite places, The Grove.
The Grove is an outside shopping mall housing some of my favourite stores, restaurants and cinema. It’s where I go with friends or by myself when I need to escape reality for a bit. It has such a unique atmosphere and isn’t like any other shopping mall I’ve been to. It still has that Hollywood sheen and is a great place to spot celebrities but it’s also somewhere you can meander and lose yourself for a few hours.
Outfit Details: Shirt – H&M (currently sold out online; find similar HERE & HERE) | Jeans – J Brand (find HERE on SALE) | Booties – Miu Miu (similar HERE) | Bag – Chanel (similar HERE, HERE & HERE) | Bag Charm – That New Dress eBoutique (find HERE)
It’s without doubt the prettiest mall I’ve been to. It’s famous for it’s dancing water fountains and bridge but there’s also a grassed area where they provide picnic blankets and live entertainment. You can easily sit there for hours and watch the world go by.
Probably my favourite haunt is Dylan’s Candy Bar. For a sweet-toothed fiend like me it is heaven, so much so that I know exactly where all my favourite sweets can be found in amongst the enormous pick ‘n’ mix selection.
The shops range from MAC to Barneys, so there really is something for everyone. Favourites of mine include Sephora, J Crew, Barnes and Noble and Nordstrom.
If you’re feel peckish there are adorable food kiosks, Sprinkles cupcakes or you can even grab a table overlooking the dancing fountains.
For the odd few interested in the outfit and not Los Angeles(!), how gorgeous is this tie up shirt? It features this season’s must have details including a waist tied knot and three quarter length sleeves. It can be worn sophisticated with a simple knot, or playful and cute with an oversized bow. Plus the cherry on the top is this H&M beauty won’t break the bank either!

Thanks bunny! It’s all about braid bars, I can’t do them myself either. Any decent hair dresser should be able to do them for you! xx
