...the wilder and more out there an outfit the better.
Ever since my year living in LA I’ve noticed some changes in the ways I dress. First and foremost I’ve embraced colour which is a million miles away from my old palette of black, grey and navy. The other is I’m a lot more confident in my wacky and crazy choices. These days the wilder and more out there an outfit the better.
When I saw this ASOS jacket it made my heart flutter and I knew I had to have it. What’s not to love? It’s fun, raises a smile and has plenty of pink. It’s the perfect jacket for a British summer because it’s bright and full of colour but also ideal for those cool evenings. I know I’m biased as a pink lover but it’s a colour which goes with everything and this jacket will work with anything from jeans to dresses or some embroidered anglaise shorts. Such a versatile statement summer jacket like this one is (in my book) a summer must have.
This summer seems to be all about pom pom sandals and I’m LOVING them. Prices seems to range on these hugely but I would recommend picking up an inexpensive pair on the high street, as I imagine for most of us we will only be wearing them for the summer season. I was overjoyed when I found this very affordable pair from the ZARA kids department, one of the great perks of having little feet (FYI ZARA kids shoes goes all the way up to a UK 6 which is a EU 39)! Although I’ve since spotted a rather gorgeous pair from River Island and now I’m lusting after these too.
