I've found the perfect little pick-me-up which doesn't break the bank.

I don’t know about you but I’m still feeling that post-Christmas pinch.  After Christmas, the January sales and my birthday party, I am totally spent out, so I’m having to suffer a few frugal weeks.  However, just because I’m trying to keep a tight reign on the purse strings, doesn’t mean I’m forgoing the odd treat.

I’ve found the perfect little pick-me-up which doesn’t break the bank.  I’ve spoken about my favourite budget skincare brand, nspa, on the blog numerous times before.  If you don’t know about them you catch my previous posts HERE and HERE.  They are worth a read if you’re looking for affordable but effective skincare products.

Recently, they launched a new bath and body care line called Sacred Spa.  Let’s be honest, who doesn’t want/need a bit of a pamper session around this time of year? It’s cold, grey and given we’re all spent out, you’ll be delighted to hear this little treat comes it at a rather lovely £3 each.  It’s hard to believe you can feel indulged and pampered for £3.

The Sacred Spa range is available in 2 scents, Jojoba & White Jasmine and Reviving Sea Minerals.  So far, I’ve tried the Jojoba and White Jasmine and the smell reminds me of their skincare.  It’s pretty without being too overbearing.

Jojoba and White Jasmine Body Polish

I am a body exfoliator obsessive.  I always have at least 3-4 in my shower at any one time.  This one is on the gentler side but if I do need a firmer scrub I’ll use it with a mitt.  It has a jelly-like consistency which is gentle on the skin.  As it’s such an affordable product I find myself using excessive amounts so I get a really full exfoliation.  It makes a nice change from my more expensive products which I use very sparingly.

Jojoba and White Jasmine Body Butter

This is my favourite product from the line.  It’s gorgeously thick and really melts into the skin.  It’s incredibly hydrating.  Recently, I’ve been slathering it all over my feet before bed and putting bed socks over the top.  The next morning, I have the softest feet ever!  I’d honestly say this is as good as any high-end body butter I’ve tried.

Jojoba and White Jasmine Shower & Bath Gel

This is probably my least favourite product out of the four.  However, that’s not because I don’t like it.  It is a lovely shower gel, I just think there are better shower gels on the market for around the same money.  Unlike the other products, this one doesn’t stand out from the crowd.

Jojoba and White Jasmine Foaming Bath Oil

Let’s be honest, you can’t ever beat a bubble bath!  This is infused with indulgent Coconut and Sunflower Oils which leaves the skin feeling cleansed and nourished.  I definitely felt like a happier, more relaxed person stepping out of the bath after using this bath oil.
