I don’t think I have ever been as excited by the launch of a new beauty product as I was the Glamglow Thirstymud Hydrating Treatment...
I absolutely swear by a couple of Glamglow’s products. Their Supermud Clearing Treatment and Youthmud Tinglexfoliate Treatment are two of my top beauty must haves. So, I don’t think I have ever been as excited by the launch of a new beauty product as I was the Glamglow Thirstymud Hydrating Treatment (yes – the name is a bit of a mouthful!). This treatment provides extreme hydration by using the latest and most advanced patent technologies (including Dewdration, Hydrapack, GreenEnergy and TEAOXI). This product aims to hydrate, moisturise, restore, replenish and calm the skin.
I wouldn’t go as far as to say I was disappointed with this product. It certainly left my skin hydrated, especially when left on overnight. It isn’t overly oily so it’s easy to use and doesn’t sit uncomfortably on the skin. I can absolutely see why they advise this for flying as there is no doubt it is hydrating. I liked the subtle scent of coconut. I also liked that you didn’t need huge amounts which means a jar should last a while even if you use it 2 or 3 times a week. So there is a lot I liked about this!
I think my overall opinion is partly to blame on my high expectations. The instant results I get with their other products are just unlike any other on the market. My skin immediately feels less congested and cleaner. I just didn’t get that mind blowing experience with this. I like it, I just don’t adore it! I wouldn’t say don’t buy this– if you suffer from dry skin I’d definitely recommend it but if you have combination or oily Thirstymud isn’t a must have. I also think it’s just a bit too pricey (RRP £49.99) to purchase with the intention of using purely for flying (unless you’re a frequent flyer of course!).
However, if you are planning on purchasing I’ve done some hunting around and Terence Paul seems to be the best value. They also offer free delivery and they’re pretty quick at getting it to you.
