These are the ones I am constantly reaching for in this icy cold and drying weather.
Tis the season of chapped and dry lips, so I thought I’d share the 3 best lip balms this winter. These are the ones I am constantly reaching for in this icy cold and drying weather.
Burt’s Bees – 100% Natural Lip Balm
Burt’s Bees didn’t make it into my top 3 best lip balms until I tried the Wild Cherry version and everything changed. This isn’t your conventional synthetic, medicine-like cherry taste. It smells and tastes delicious and is very reminiscent of eating cherries.
Aside from the lovely scent and taste it glides onto the lips with ease and is super hydrating.
Personally, I’m less keen on the classic one as the peppermint is a touch too strong and makes my lips really tingle. However, if you love that cooling sensation you HAVE to give it a try.

How can you not love EOS lip balms? Just the sphere-shaped packaging alone makes them fab!
The other great thing is there is a favour for everyone in their collection. My personal favourite is the Sweet Mint, which gives that cooling sensation but isn’t too overpowering (unlike the Burt’s Bees one). It has just the right amount of tingle. Next on my list to try is Coconut Milk and very pretty looking shimmer versions.

Crème De La Mer – The Lip Balm
If you’re feeling spendy then Creme De La Mer’s The Lip Balm is the most amazing and nourishing lip balm of them all. This incredibly rich and nourishing balm does the job in one application and takes you from flaking lips to plump and juicy ones in next to no time!
However, at £45 a pot it’s VERY pricey. Although as soon as this one runs out I know I will headed straight to the Crème De La Mer counter to repurchase it as it’s the best. Nuff said!

I feel bad keeping an Eos around as a vegan, as it often contains honey, but they do work well and last a long time.
Scavenged an unused one from a petsit, so that’s how I justify keeping it around.
