ZARA OOTD

The high street brand who seems to get it right every single time is ZARA.  I don’t know about you but whenever I’m in store or on their online site I find it impossible not see something I desperately want!  This season they’ve outdone themselves and my wish list seems to be never-ending!  This ZARA OOTD features just a few of this season’s highlights.

When I saw these pom pom trousers my heart skipped a beat, I knew immediately they were a must have.  As you probably know I love anything with a pom pom!  Even though they’re part of the A/W range, they have a very summery vibe because of the linen fabric.  I’ll definitely be wearing these throughout the rest of summer and well into autumn.  Also, it’s worth bearing in mind I’m on the shorter side, so if you’re more of a normal height(!) then these will be much more cropped, adding to the summery feel even further!

As we’re already in September (where has the time gone!?) I’m starting to get more and more excited about autumn dressing which is my absolute favourite.  Bring on gorgeous khakis, warm toned browns and lots of layers!  I’m loving this easy breezy shirt which to me screams “autumn”, although I probably should have given it an iron before I shot this look!

It never fails to amaze me how trends filter down from the catwalk.  These slides are the perfect mix of Gucci Princetown slippers with a touch of No.21.  I love the Gucci slippers, especially the ones with the fur lining but I always worry about spending huge amounts of money on something so trend led that may not stand the test of time.  These £39.99 ZARA options are a perfect compromise.

Just one word of warning if you’re walking down stairs in these, they make such a racket, everyone can hear you coming!  Also, don’t try running for a bus or rushing across a road wearing these because you will lose a shoe on the way, this has happened to me at least twice!

It’s not often I find myself dressed from head to toe in a single brand (the last time was an outfit I shared HERE) but sometimes when a look works perfectly together, you just have to roll with it!  Also, I’m a strong believer in good quality accessories and by mixing in luxury elements, such as my Chanel bag and cuff, you can make any high street OOTD look so much more expensive than it actually is.

  1. I absolutely LOVE this outfit – everything about it. Your high-low styling is perfect, the top is so on point and I love the color, those pom pom pants are AMAZING, and the shoes are so much fun. Wow! You look like you are headed to Fashion Week. Thanks for sharing. I will definitely have to try on those pants – for starters! XO, Janea

  2. I feel the SAME way, girl, haha! I have a never ending wish list, too! I purchased a teal hat, I can’t wait to wear, and I have my eye set on a bunch of other pieces. I love your picks and how you’ve styled them all in this look. This olive green shade looks so good on you and those pom pom trousers are so cute, as are those slides! Thanks so much for sharing, gorgeous, and I hope you’re having the best week so far!

    XO,
