Being the crazy dog lady that I am, this outfit by emerging designer Sins Suit instantly stole my heart.

Although my London Fashion Week was cut short this season, I did manage to squeeze one very busy day in.  I ended up wearing something from my new favourite online concept store, Fashion Crossover London which you can read more about in a previous post HERE.

Being the crazy dog lady that I am, this outfit by emerging designer Sins Suit instantly stole my heart.  It’s super fun and eye catching without looking too ridiculous, so it was perfect for Fashion Week.  I paired it with a black vintage Yves Saint Laurent shirt.  One of the things I loved most about wearing this outfit was the amazing movement from the tassels on the skirt and the flick of the mermaid tail as I walked.

I was having a, “I don’t have any bags I want to wear” moment when I was pulling this look together, so I ended up having to majorly raid my wardrobe!  I found my old Mulberry Bayswater hiding at the back and it brought back so many memories.  The Bayswater is one of the few bags which looks better with wear as the leather just gets softer and more beautiful.  I ended up carrying it as an oversized clutch a la Victoria Beckham style.  I really loved that I was able to give this gorgeous bag a new lease of life by simply styling it in a different way.  I’m fairly sure this will getting plenty more outings from now on.

British weather being what it is, you always need to be prepared and this cropped coat ticks all the boxes; classic, elegant, beautiful quality and a surprisingly purse friendly price tag.  If you’re currently looking to invest in a coat which will last you years, I honestly cannot recommend this one enough (find it HERE).

I don’t tend to blog about any of the LFW shows, as I feel there are so many other bloggers out there who do that so well already, but if you are interested in knowing my personal highlights and what my fashion crushes were from the shows and presentations let me know.

  1. I love your LFW outfit! That suit is so unique with the graphic on the back – adorable! – and that super cool skirt hem with the tassles. I’d say that your entire outfit ticked all the right boxes: stylish, elegant, attention-grabbing, and appropriate for the weather. Brava!
