A lot of people dismiss pink as being too feminine and on the young side but it's actually one of the most versatile colours to wear.

The clocks have gone forward, the sun is beginning to peep out from behind the clouds and the Cherry Blossom is out in full force which can only mean on thing, Spring has officially arrived.  The biggest trend for Spring/Summer is pink, so I thought I’d mark the new season by styling 3 distinct ways wear it.

To kick off my “pink lookbook” I’ve started with a tomboy/rock’n’roll vibe for all those that aren’t that keen on the girly vibe.  I think a lot of people dismiss pink as being too feminine and on the young side but it’s actually one of the most versatile colours to wear.  It pretty much compliments every colour and style.

This jumper dress was such a good find and a total bargain! It’s absolutely perfect for this transitional weather which, as all know, can be rather temperamental!  It’s also one of those very easy pieces to just throw on and go.  Without doubt, I’ll be getting a HUGE amount of wear from this in the upcoming season.  Plus, I’m kinda looooving that bubblegum pink!

As many of you will already know, my go-to look is to throw on a leather jacket.  It’s the easiest, chicest and coolest way to finish off an outfit.  At the moment I’m obsessed with ones which look customised with either patches, painted details or embroidery.  If you want to channel that tomboy look, the oversized the better.  I love the look of this “Run Away with me Baby” one as it has such a cool vibe and is surprisingly purse friendly compared to similar ones I’ve seen.

Finally, I have to mention these boots which I’ve been wearing nonstop recently.  They’re basically a dupe of a Saint Laurent pair from a few seasons ago which I didn’t buy and have been kicking myself about ever since.  These look almost as good and for £39.99 you can’t argue.  They are faux leather and up close they do look a little bit plastic-y but thankfully, the more you wear them and scuff them up the better they look.

  1. Your styling is always so innovative and on point! I also love how wearable this whole look is! I think I have similar pieces in my closet (minus the pink top but really you could use any color). I do love the juxtaposition between feminine and tomboy with this outfit. Executed perfectly!
