...it gives you that new bag feeling at a fraction of the price.
I don’t know about you but January felt like it was 275 days long this year. Now February has FINALLY arrived I’ve decided this will be the month to kick start 2019. January was just a trial run! Even though I’m still only just about managing to brush my hair and wearing minimal makeup, at least I’m finally out of tracksuits and wearing real clothes again. After all, I have a new Givenchy bag strap to tote around and I want to make the most of it!
Despite the Givenchy Antigona recently losing some of its desirability (not surprising given it first launched 8 years ago!), it still remains one of my favourite handbags of all time. I adore the structure, simplicity and “boss lady” effect it has.
I have had mine for 4 years and I still look at it with the same glint in my eye. However, like any relationship (yes, I like to think of my bags as enduring friendships), you need to change it up every now and again.
When I first discovered Givenchy had added fluffy bag straps to their collection I was immediately enamoured. Although an extravagant purchase, I can’t help but think it’s given my Antigona a whole new lease of life and I’m excited to be toting it around London again.
Admittedly, it’s a spendy purchase at £425 but it does give you that new bag feeling at a fraction of the price. Plus, it could also be used on other bags providing they have a detachable strap. I will definitely be playing around with mine on some of my other bags too. One word of warning, not all Antigona’s have detachable shoulder straps, so make sure yours does before you make this purchase!

I was provided with a gift voucher by Farfetch in exchange for this blogpost. My humongous love of Givenchy remains very much my own, as do all opinions and views expressed in this post.
