The reason I fell so madly in love with their clothes is because it offers stylish dressing for lazy people!
BCBG was probably the one shop I spent the most time (and money!) in while I was in LA. Although it was a brand I knew of, mostly for their evening dresses and association with Herve Leger, it wasn’t somewhere I had shopped in.
There are 3 things you need to know about BCBG. Firstly, it is considerably cheaper in the US than the UK. Secondly, their clothes are amazing and thirdly, their sale is fantastic! I was definitely rather spend happy there and wanted to share my beautiful pieces starting with my ridiculously, amazing value sales purchases!
The reason I fell so madly in love with their clothes is because it offers stylish dressing for lazy people! Yes, I love fashion and putting outfits together but sometimes on a regular, run of the mill work day there is nothing better then throwing on a dress or top/ skirt combo which looks great without any need for additional accessorising. This is what BCBG’s clothes offer.
Unfortunately, all of this was picked up in the sale most of it isn’t available anymore but stay tuned for my BCBG Obsession – Part 2 which will feature this season’s pieces.

I fell in love with these pencil skirts! They are ridiculously comfortable and yet still sophisticated and can be styled hundreds of different ways. I’ve worn them with everything from a denim shirt, to a silk camisole top or embellished t-shirt. I believe they’re a BCBG staple and are released every season in different patterns.
Jacket – BCBG | Shorts – BCBG | Shirt – Jack Wills | Shoes – Miu Miu | Necklace – Chanel (find similar HERE and HERE)
I’ve never had a coordinating ensemble before (expect maybe when I was a toddler and had no choice in what I wore!) but I thought this was a gorgeous set and simply couldn’t resist! Plus I love the shorts and blazer individually too, so I’m sure this will be getting a lot of wear. The pictures really don’t do this outfit justice!
L-R Tops – All BCBG (find similar in the BGBG online SALE HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE)
The other thing I picked up quite a few of was tops. Usually when I wear jeans (and often skirts) I throw on a casual tee and keep it simple. However, I was beginning to notice how short I was of sophisticated tops to wear under a blazer for a meeting. I think all of these are perfect for giving a smarter, more tailored edge.
Dress – BCBG | Shoes – Christian Louboutin
I have nothing easier in my wardrobe to throw on than this dress. On lazy days (which is most) I wear this, add a waist belt, throw on my Louboutin wedges and I’m out the door. Easy as pie!
BCBG can be purchased at their London flagship store on the Kings Road, a Harvey Nichols concession or online.
