Its been a while since I’ve done a “new in” beauty post, catch the most recent one about perfumes HERE.  This time round I’m chatting about some of the latest makeup products which have been added to my ever-expanding collection.

NYX Angel Veil and Pore Filler Primer

Benefit Porefessional has been my favourite primer since I can remember.  I have bought tubes and tubes of it over the years.  However, someone once mentioned in passing that NYX does a cheaper alternative.

Obviously, I had to investigate and find out if it was a worthy dupe or not.  I bought Pore Filler and Angel Veil and this is what I thought…

NYX Pore Filler – For the price, this is the ultimate silicon primer.  It minimises pores and adds a smooth silky film to the skin.  However, 100% this is a product for oily skin, if you suffer from dry patches, this will only dry them out further.  It also means foundation will cake in those areas rather than glide over them.

NYX Angel Veil – Unlike the NYX Pore Filler this one is more suitable to combination skin.  It has a lighter consistency which glides over the surface of the skin but still has enough silicon to fill fine lines and pores.  Also, you get 30ml (Pore Filler is only 20ml) which makes it even better value for money!

Glamglow Glowsetter

I’m not usually a fan of setting sprays as I find they move my makeup around.  This is the only one I swear by.  Not only does it set your makeup but it also provides the loveliest and dewiest finish.  I highly recommend!

Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Lips

If you love a matte liquid lip then you have to get yourself the Hollywood Lips.  It is the most hydrating formula I have ever tried.  It glides on beautifully and has incredible staying power.

I have Charlotte Darling which is a perfect nude (see it HERE) and Screen Siren, the most amazing red (check it out HERE)!

Farsali Rose Gold Elixir

It took me a while to work out how to incorporate the Farsali Rose Gold Exlir into my makeup routine.  However, since turning 30, my skin has completely shifted from being oily to dry.

I regularly mix this in with my foundation which not only stops it caking but also adds the most amazing glow.  This combined with Huda Beauty’s #FauxFilter Foundation is a winning combination.
