This post is for my fellow low maintenance gals who want products which are simple to use but actually effective.

When it comes to hair care I’m usually very low maintenance, however, as my hair has got ridiculously long recently I’ve had to start taking more care of it.  A much-needed hair cut is on my to-do list but in the meantime, these fab products are keeping me going.

This post is for my fellow low maintenance gals who want products which are simple to use but actually effective.

Batiste – Hydrate Me Oil Mist

I am Batiste’s number 1 fan.  I rely on their dry shampoo like my life depends on it.

I was fairly skeptical about this particular product when I first got it.  As someone who uses Batiste products to absorb oil I wasn’t convinced about adding oil to my hair.  However, on the rare occasion I style it and particularly if I curl it, the ends can look a little frazzled.  A quick spritz of this brings that much needed shine and gloss back.

Although be warned, too much can make your hair look greasy, so use it on the ends sparingly!!

Design. Me

This was a whole new haircare discovery for me.  Design. Me has recently crossed the shore and come over from America.  The full collection is cruelty-free, sulphate free, vegan, paraben and gluten free.

I have 3 products from the line, Puff.Me. Powerdry.Me and Fab.Me:

  • Fab.Me – I use this every time I’ve washed my hair.  Simply spray it onto damp hair and it gives you everything you need in one hit.  It has 18 benefits, ranging from detangling to heat protection and conditioning to static reduction.
  • Powerdry.Me – I’ve already mentioned how lazy I am when to comes to my hair.  Quite honestly I would rather look like a bedraggled rat then spend hours blowdrying it.  On the odd occasion I do have to do it, this is a lifesaver.  It cuts down drying time by 50%.  There is some scientific explanation as to how it works but in a nutshell, all you need to know is it saves a shed load of time!
  • Puff.Me – I swear I should have been around in the 80s as I love big hair!  This adds ample volume but if you like to be able to run your fingers through it, this product isn’t for you.  The powder leaves the heaviest, thickest residue in your hair. Design.Me refer to it as “lightweight” but its definitely not.
