It only took a single visit to Sephora to purchase enough products to last me several years but a girl can never have enough, right?!
I don’t know what it is about makeup shopping but it just makes me go weak at the knees and I forget all about the need to be frugal! It only took a single visit to Sephora to purchase enough products to last me several years but a girl can never have enough, right?!
If you haven’t heard about this collaboration between BECCA and Jaclyn Hill you must have been living under a rock. Everyone cannot stop raving about it, so obviously I wasn’t about to miss out on any of that action! When I swatched it in store it definitely has an intense highlight and a golden glow. If you’re into strobing then this game a changer!
When I tested these on the back of my hand it was one of those jaw hits the ground moments. They are so beautiful, in fact I had to stop myself swatching them because I knew I’d want every colour if I carried on. I got shades Rose Gold and Opal. I can’t wait to use Rose Gold as a super gorgeous blush/highlight on my cheeks. I also loved the liquid consistency, it blended super well and I imagine it will be quite moisturising. Quite possibly my favourite purchase in the haul.
I discovered these in my last Sephora Haul (read HERE) and they really do what they say on the tin. I’ve never had a product last on my lips so long. They are drying so I wouldn’t wear them everyday but if you’re going to an event and can’t reapply your lips, these are your best friend! More then definitely worth the hype. I got colours Requiem and Melancholia.
We’ve all heard about it and how it’s a holy grail product, so I figured it was about time I tried it for myself. Plus I recently stopped wearing eyelash extensions so my lashes are stubbier than ever and in need of a superb mascara. Better than sex? Who knows but I’ll keep you posted!
I brought a bottle of this perfume in my last Sephora haul (catch it HERE) and within 3 months I had used it all up. This time I wasn’t going to make the same mistake and invested in the biggest bottle they had! Still love it and still can’t get enough!
With this scent there was absolutely no mistaking how much I loved it. It is incredibly floral and sweet but without being sickly. It manages to balance pretty with sophistication. It’s actually a very good dupe of Chanel’s Gardenia which I love but refuse to repurchase because it’s so ridiculously priced!
I purchased this set predominantly for two products. First was the Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment in colour Rose. I purchased the Plum version in my last Sephora haul and I’ve pretty much used the majority of it up. I needed to repurchase but as I spent so much already this seemed like a good compromise! The second product was Kat Von D’s Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in colour Lolita. I sooo wanted this shade but they were sold out in store so getting this mini was another perfect compromise. The 3 other lip products included a Tarte Amazonian Butter Lipstick in colour Coral Blossom (full sized), Marc Jacobs Lip Creme in colour Je T’aime, MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Plexi Gloss in 202 Sweet Pink and Sephora Rouge Infusion Lip Stain in Peony. Although the jury is out on all these other products, I do think this set offers really good value for money and would definitely like to try some of Sephora’s other favourite sets
Obviously if there is a new Glamglow product out I have to purchase it. Anything Glamglow puts their name to I trust and know it will be brilliant even without trying it. This boasts some great claims stating it offers a “powerful and innovative multi-brightening complexes help to create the brightest, lightest, and luminous sexy skin.”; obviously you could count me in on having some of that. I’ll keep you updated on whether it lives up to it’s bold statements!
