Beauty Heroes Under 5

Who doesn’t love a fabulous beauty product which doesn’t cost the earth?  These are my 5 favourite beauty heroes under £5.

1) Bioderma Sensibio H20 Micellar Water

I discovered this much-loved cult product very late but boy, am I happy I finally found it!  Without a shadow of a doubt, it’s my favourite micellar water and the 100ml bottle comes in just on budget at £5, making it an absolute bargain.

Speaking of Bioderma I have to give Atoderm Shower Oil an honourable mention.  If you’re looking for a super moisturising shower gel, this is the one.  Sadly, it’s not under the £5 mark, but in my eyes, it’s still bloody good value!

2) Original Source Mint & Tea Tree Shower

This is my favourite shower gel to use first thing in the morning as nothing wakes you up more than this!  It’s refreshing, tingly and starts your day just right.  I’m also a fan of some of Original Source’s other scents, especially the Lemon & Tea Tree and I’m intrigued to try the Mango one.  At £1 a bottle you can afford to have them all.

3) Andrew Barton Smooth That Frizz Gloss Serum

I discovered Andrew Barton hair products around the same time I discovered my favourite affordable skincare line, nspa (read more about it HERE & HERE).  The Smooth That Frizz Gloss Serum is perfect for taming flyaway hairs and adding that much-needed shine.  It’s as good as any other serum I’ve used but only costs £3.60.  Why pay more, when it’s as effective as its premium competitors?!

4) Mavala Nail Colours

I’ve been using Mavala nail polishes for years.  They always have the best selection of colours, are long lasting and really well priced.  I actually like that the bottles are mini in size, as let’s be honest who has ever finished a whole bottle of nail polish?  What’s the point of paying for extra product you’re not going to use?  At £4.95 a bottle you just can’t argue!

5) Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner

I have a love/hate relationship with lip liners.  I love the full lips effect they provide but I’ve bought so many over the years which have been rubbish.  Finally, I’ve found one which I like and it’s only £3.99.  It’s not too drying, it has the right amount of pigmentation and isn’t so soft you end up using it all up in a matter of weeks.

I would love to know some of your affordable beauty heroes, as I’m always on the hunt for ones!
